Media Design seniors Brenden Beckwith and Ally Dorval wanted to know why MMTC teachers do what they do when they could easily be working in the trades they teach. So they interviewed and photographed many of them and produced portraits of them to tell their stories.

These are the entries for the MMTC SkillsUSA Photography Competition. Students submitted four of their best images from the year so far, then created an additional one on the theme, “Working Hands.”

It all begins with an idea. Sometimes those ideas help make us rock stars. Sometimes, not so much, but it’s good practice.
