PRECISION MACHINING

Precision Machining students learn how to use bench and surface grinders, metal cutting saws, vertical milling machines, CNC machines, lathes, welding equipment, and more.

The program teaches students blueprint reading, quality control, standard operating procedures, employee relations, and safety. Students also explore welding and metal fabrication. The curriculum is based on standards established by the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) and the American Welding Society.
